Hi there,

the Sidebar Layout overview allows you to set the sidebars for the 3 main areas of the site:

If you set the Sidebar Layout to Content this will remove the sidebar from Home and Static pages.

If you want to only disable in on your home page and that page is set to display your latest posts then use a Layout Element:

Here you can set no sidebars and set the display rules to Front Page
