Show the “Updated” Post Date

I want to show the post date and author of the post at the top.
I tried to add the following code but didn't work.

Hi there,
1. Make sure you have the Blog Module enabled in Appearance > GeneratePress.
2. Go to Customizer > Layout > Blog and check the date and author display options:
