Show submenu in sidebar

Hi,

I want to show the submenu items of the primary navigation in the sidebar. So I click on the top menu item and it takes me to the site. The sub navigation should be shown in the sidebar in the content area next to the text. Is that possible dynamically? I know I could do a block elements for sidebars with the navigation points and place them on the specific sites, but how do I do this dynamically?

Hi Ben,

I'm not sure I fully understand your question, but worth to try a plugin which can set conditions for the menu items.

So you can create a menu with conditions, and hook it into the sidebar.

Hi,

I have a main menu, shown on top of the site: Home - About Us - Our work.
Submenu items of About Us are: Ben - Peter - Ying.

When I click About Us I want the About Us page to open and the sidebar should show the submenu items: Ben - Peter - Ying.

Does that help to clarify? :o)

Hi there,

is there any relationship between the primary menu items and the sub menu items ? Eg. they are Parent and Child Pages
And can i see the site ?
