Hello, how can I get it so that post categories show on the top of posts, as well as pages, please? See here: https://www.totallypurrfect.com I want “care” “behaviour” etc to show at the top of the posts when you read a post so you can navigate to the same / different categories when reading. Thanks!
if you go to Appeearance > Elements and edit the Single Post Hero you can see in the Editor that the last headline block is set to display the Category Terms:
If you select that Headline and edit its dynamic data options you can set the Dynamic Link Type to : Term Archives.
Ooh that is very helpful – thank you! I have just added that in and updated. Great feature!
That’s not quite what I meant though. On my other blog it’s set up correctly but I can’t remember how I did it. See here: https://ibb.co/VBRVfsJ (via http://www.forgettingfairytales.com) – when you click a post, the grey categories still shows beneath the main pages. On my new site (www.totallypurrfect.com) – it doesn’t. Where do I change that please?
Doh… ๐
In Appearance > Elements, edit the hook titled: Secondary Navigation
On the Display Rules tab, there is an Exclusion rule: Posts > All Post. Delete that
Hello ๐ I’m trying to stop a post category from showing up on the header section of the homepage (which usually just shows all of the latest posts), in the same way, by excluding it in elements. I thought this was the “Magazine Grid” as it was the only one showing on the “front page”, but when I test the new exclusion rule and clear the cache – it doesn’t work. Can you tell me what I’m doing wrong please?
To clarify, are you wanting to remove posts of a specific category from the Header? If so, in Dispatch template, you’ll need to go to WP Show Posts > All Lists > Header. Set the taxonomy to Category, and then select the specific categories you only wish to show.
