[Support request] short codes showing up in search

When we use the search in Exhibit 1.04 the shortcode for the slide show is coming in at the top of the text. I would prefer never to see shortcodes in search results.
Hmmm how do I attach an image to show you? Nope, ok a link then look at the Home result

Hmm, you might need to contact the plugin developer of the slideshow and report that their slideshow options are displaying when the theme using the_excerpt() function. It likely shouldn’t display there by default when the_excerpt() is used.
