One short question. Can I add a short code to a bottom?

I think it may not work, because I have a bottom in a container on a page, and I want to insert the code in the bottom, so when a person clicks on the bottom, it activates the code, which pop-up a form.
This is the code I want to add. What it does is it shows a pop-up form I designed. [fluentform_modal form_id=”228″]
