Shapes for 404 Element

Hi,

I have an Element, 404 type: Block - Page Hero, that has a shape that I want to remove. If I edit the element and delete the shape in the settings there, will it be gone for all other elements too?

Hi Mel,

Not sure if I understand.

Editing a specific element won't have an impact on the other elements - this should be self-explanatory.

Am I missing something here?

Hi,

I would be deleting the shape in the settings menu on the right hand side for the 404 shape. Block > Shapes.

I just want to make sure deleting the shape there won't delete the shape from settings for all other elements.

That's simply not how WordPress work. Each page/post/element/block are all independent from each other unless you are using special options like reuseable block etc.

I would mention that everything in the software/website world can be undone and reverted so sometimes it's best to just learn through trial and error :)
