Hello,
I've unfortunately enabled and tinkered with SG optimizer, before I've read it can mess things up.

You guys repeatedly suggest to clear/flush it and then uninstall. Could you please tell me what is that clearing/flushing and how it's done?

And does it revert all changes to CSS, JS and such, that were made by it?

-----------------------

Also, after installing Autoptimize, and setting it like here: https://generatepress.com/fastest-wordpress-theme/
do I need to deactivate it every time before I edit layout or add custom CSS?
One of you guys wrote here, that during development such plugins shouldn't be used.

Hi there,

- Have you checked with SG's support team for this? They should have some sort of documentation for their service.

- It's recommended to not use them during development so you don't have to clear the cache every time when making changes.

Let me know :)

Ok, so it's not that modifications to site doesn't work, or become broken, it's that you just need to clear cache every time to see difference? And there are no issues with adding new CSS even when minify CSS in on?

No info about uninstallation in their documentation, I might contact tech support.

I've seen it causing some issues for sure.

But I would say let's cross that bridge when issues appear.
