Hello, I was checking my pages and I don't see my landing page/home page listed in my pages list. I am also not getting any pageviews and I wonder if this might be part of the reason. Could you please let me know how to set up my landing page/home page as an active page on my site.
Hi Aaron,
To clarify, what page list are you referring to?
Can you also provide the link to your landing/home page?
You may use the Private Information field for this: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/using-the-premium-support-forum/#private-information
Sure, the landing page is https://www.wedistry.com/. When I look in my pages section in wordpress, i don't see this landing page.
I see. So we can understand the issue a little more, can you provide admin login credentials?

Hello, I just wanted to verify that you receieved the login info.
Sorry, we didn't seem to receive one.
Can you share the credentials here?

Can you change the password, and share it in the Private Information field as mentioned?: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/using-the-premium-support-forum/#private-information
It's not safe to add credentials here as it's a public forum.
Yes, I will try again. i thought you meant in this space but I will enter again in private information.
Thank you!
I Settings > Reading, your Homepage is set to "Your latest posts".
This setting sets your Front Page to be your Blog Page.
It won't be seen as an actual Page.
If you want your Homepage to be an actual page, you can change it in Settings > Reading.
Do you recommend this change and does this affect site pageviews and visibility?
It depends on the website structure you want.
Changing your current structure may affect your site positively or negatively. This, we can't know for sure until you try.
What you currently have set though is normal. It's a structure present in many WordPress websites. There shouldn't be anything to worry about.
Ok, thanks!
Thanks again
You're welcome, Aaron!
