Setting latest blog post as blog page hero

Hi, I'm having some trouble with setting the latest blog post (image, title, subtitle, view button) as the hero for the Blog page.

I've configured WP Show Posts to display the Latest Post and added a function to offset the posts that display below.

However, I can't figure out how to get the header to display the image and text correctly.

Help appreciated!
