Setting Different Background Opacity on Desktop, Mobil, etc in a Container Block

Is there a simple way to set the opacity differently on Desktop from Tablet or Mobile? It looks like adjustments in the Gutenberg editor set these values the same for all sizes. Do I need to just do a custom css override?
