Setting background images from the media library

With GP, I do not have the ability -- via the Customizer -- to set any of the background images from the Media Library. Instead, I am only able to set an image by uploading a new one from disk or elsewhere.

This is a nuisance, because I work in the cloud from different physical devices, and because the images I need for background use are already in the Media Library.

Am I missing something?

Thanks for a wonderful theme,

Bob

P.S. -- I have the full set of add-ons installed, but this does not provide the missing feature.

Also, the Header and Background widgets that are available in under Appearance with most themes are now not there.

I've been waiting on WordPress to add this functionality to the core, however it's taking a while. I've been following the core trac and it looks like it might be implemented in 4.1, but I may go ahead and develop my own function, as I agree this needs to be added ASAP.

Thanks for the info, Tom.

This feature has been implemented in the next version of Backgrounds.

Thanks!
