Set Template homepage without importing demo content

Hi there,
I've recently installed the Premium version of Generatepress using the Template "Read" from the Site Library.
When I imported the "Read" template, I chose not to import the demo content, as I already have a lot of pre-existing content.
However, now I am unsure how to create a front page like the demo front page on the "Read" theme.
Does that template for the front page exist somewhere? Where would I find it?
Thank you for your help,
Jade
Hi Jade,
Here is the front page content in HTML format:

The shortcodes are from WP Show Posts plugin.
Hope this helps :)
Thanks very much for this Leo.
I'm not too happy using the WP Show Posts plugin to do the front page as it hasn't been updated in 9 months.
What other page builder plugins do you recommend for the best results?
(Or better still...) do you have any inbuilt functionality for creating nice front pages in the GeneratePress theme itself?
Thanks again
Jade
An additional question: Does the Stackable page builder work on GeneratePress without conflicts?
Hi there,
to cover:
The WP Show Posts plugin is developed by Tom ( the GP Founder ) - it has a much slower update cycle but we have one planned very soon. Just to iterate its not a concern it hasn't been updated for 9 months, which is supported by the 80,000 installs.
But you can of course use any plugin you like.
For creating Block layouts we, of course, recommend GenerateBlocks, which would have created the Layout you see in the Read Site as it is in most of Library Sites.
We have many users also using other block plugins like Stackable, Kadence etc but they generally add these for very specific single use blocks inside a GenerateBlocks layout.
Benefits of using GenerateBlocks is its a requirement to use the GPP 2.0 Theme Builder:
https://generatepress.com/introducing-the-gp-theme-builder/
Which is now included in the majority of the Library Sites.
