Hi team,

I created a blog page using a Query Loop on the main page, and have set a rule on my Right Sidebar block to appear on that page. My problem now is that I can't figure out how to set a maximum width (say 1300px) on that page that includes both and is centered on the page. Is there a way to do this / is there a better way to achieve what I'm going for ? The page on the site is called Blog.

Thanks for your help !

Hi there,

a few things to unpick here:

1. the Content Container has been set to Full Width on that page:
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/content-container/

Change that to Contained, this will respect the themes container width set in the customizer but remove the theme padding.

2. Select the parent Container Block on that page:
2.1 In the block toolbar uncheck the align wide option.
2.2 remove the % padding, and just add a fixed pixel padding for left and top as you require.

That should get you closer to where you need, let me know.

Hi David ! Thanks for the tip. I had a Layout element that was applied to that page, which ended up disabling the Content Container. Once I excluded that page from the Element, I was able to put everything in place.

Thanks again !!

Glad to hear that :)
