Set category base as the page for blog posts

Is it possible to set the category base as the page where all the posts under the "Blog" category load?
For example, I'd like http://www.example.com/category-base/ to be the page where all my "Blog" posts load rather than http://www.example.com/category-base/blog. Is this possible to achieve? Or, is their some way to set the blog posts to default to http://www.example.com/category-base/?
