Serving scaled images

Hello,
The GTmetrix report for my website shows that the pagespeed is slow because server scaled images.
The featured image size, that I have been using in the post is 800 x 400.
In media settings also, I have set the large size image size to 800 x 400.
In home page, I have displayed some of my latest posts. The images on this homepage has a smaller size of the featured image.
The report shows that "the image is resized in HTML or CSS from 800x400 to 265x133".
How to resolve this issue?

Hi there,
You may need to check with the developers of the grid/posts plugin you're using. They may have an option to display smaller images, as right now they're being sized down quite a bit.
