Separate Hero Images for Desktop & Mobile

Hi Guys,
I have 2 hero images one for desktop & one for mobile. Is this best achieved via css? as the header element only takes 1 image? I only need them on the front page. Maybe I could just hard code the images in
the header element & use css classes?
