I have seen online some people recommending to rename the WordPress plugins folder as a security measure. Would you recommend this step? Is it worth the possible complications that may be caused by this? I already make sure to use a strong 12 character long password for my login? Does that make a difference? You’re far better off using secure plugins and keeping everything updated. Hosting is also major when it comes to security, so make sure you have a good host. Strong passwords are always recommended.
