Security - Changing name of plugins folder

I was concerned about security for my WordPress website.
I have seen online some people recommending to rename the WordPress plugins folder as a security measure.
Would you recommend this step?
Is it worth the possible complications that may be caused by this?
I already make sure to use a strong 12 character long password for my login? Does that make a difference?

Doing this will make it so you no longer receive updates to the plugin via the Dashboard.
I don't think it's worth it. You're far better off using secure plugins and keeping everything updated.
Hosting is also major when it comes to security, so make sure you have a good host.
Strong passwords are always recommended.
