Sections help needed

Hi - can anybody tell me how to have my content contained (not edge to edge) using sections. I have watched the video but like all of them they are of little help. Almost invisible and no commentary.
I just bought the pro version of GP so I assume I have the latest version.

There should be a box type and inner box type in the layout settings:
