Sections and modules like generatepress.com

Hello, I would like to make a website similar to generatepress.com, what sections and modules have you used?

How did you manage to put a background image on the main part of the web? Do you use Gutenberg?

Hi there,

generatepress.com was developed by Tom.
The background image you can add to the Body in Customizer > Backgrounds.

On the page you use as the cover I understand that it is made with the "Sections" module. But then how do you do to enter columns?

They just look like they are GP Sections module - but they are built with Custom HTML and CSS. The columns are created using CSS Flexbox.
