Secondary Navigation Search Snippet confusion

Hi, I've added this to my snippets but I was totally stumped as to how to get it to show up.

I was expecting to have the option in the secondary menu in the customizer. I didn't realise that you still needed to activate it using the primary menu option in the customizer and it will just show up on the secondary menu instead.
Perhaps the documentation on that snippet page could be updated to make it clearer?
