secondary navigation full width not working

When I am in the customizer and set my secondary navigation width to full and inner navigation width to full it displays correctly. Once I publish and leave the customizer the Secondary Navigation reverts to the container max-width width vs being truly full-width. I do have it aligned to the right. seems like it can work since while in the customizer it aligns properly.

Yikes, so sorry to bother you fantastic folks. So after some troubleshooting, as caching wasn't the issue, nor a a conflict, figured out I had my secondary navigation in the "top bar" and the top bar was set to be contained. it works correctly now.
One final question: I have a blank GP site set up with all my preferred plugins that allows me to easily launch a new site and begin designing. I did notice that in my clone-able site, while GP and GP premium were up to date, the Child Theme that was set up was based on an older version of GP. In the child theme details, it said it was a child of GP 2.4 or so. I created a new child just to double check and imported my settings this didn't change anything, but would like to know if it could potentially create an issue in the future. (Also learned that exporting and importing GP settings doesn't pull over custome CSS, so that was good to learn). I had to copy that over manually.
A child theme shouldn't have a version number attached:

It just grabs the file from the parent theme so just make sure the parent theme is up to date should work. :)
