No secondary menu on single posts

Situation
- Added code to show secondary menu below page header while primary menu is at the top of a page.
- Found code here
- Works fine!
Problem
- Can't get single posts to show secondary menus below primary menus because they have no page header.
- Single posts generate errors in console. Example:
Cannot read 'setAttribute' of undefined
Examples
- Page with prim and sec menus. Works fine!
- Post without secondary menu only. The problem!
Any idea how to solve this?

That's strange - does the menu appear normally without that code snippet?
Sorry to follow up so late. Appears to be caused by a plugin that sets visibility of menu-items.
