Now that I have disabled Elementor, my nice looking search widget is now a plain jane box and not very attractive. Do you have a suggestion to use a nicer looking search widget with Generate Press + Relevanssi + Gutenberg blocks?

Hi there,
Tough to tell without seeing the widget in question but you will likely need to style it with CSS.
You can try using the browser inspector tool to see what CSS Elementor was using and mimic that.
Well so...in giving up Elementor and all of its easy design zippiness, is there a search widget which would work with GP or am I now limited to trying to mimic things? I mean it wasn't just css, it was an all around much more robust nice looking search widget.
All search widgets that are built to work with WordPress themes would work with GP.
If it's the appearance side of things you are referring to then it's probably just CSS.
