Search Widget Showing in Sidebar on Mobile

Hi,

I did a search, but couldn't find this.

I have the nav search enabled, no sidebar search widget, however; when viewing on a mobile a search widget appears in the sidebar (iPhone 6s).

I don't want search in my sidebar... hence I don't have the widget in a sidebar.

How do I get rid of this? Or is this a fault?

Hi Anthony,

When no widgets are added to a sidebar, some default widgets will show.

To remove them, you can:

a) Add your own widget(s) to the area.
b) Remove the sidebar completely: https://generatepress.com/knowledgebase/choosing-sidebar-layouts/
