Yes you can use the Block element's content template for Search page result design.

Just make sure you set the proper Display rule location. (Search results)

I am in the middle of creating a component and I need some guidance on how to do it the GeneratePress way. - Hope you can help me :)

The goal is to build an instant/live search and filter on the same page. I have made a mockup to clear out what I want. ( https://imgur.com/GLEnVju )

The idea is, people, go to that page, and then they can type in some words, and I will then show instantly the posts which are related to that passed on some params.

It should also be possible to filter in the results with post tags to left.

For these things I have some questions, I hope u can help me with :)

1. Is there any way we can make this search page with Generatepress, or am I out in having to build a custom page template?

2. Is there maybe any plugins u would recommend me using instead creating everything from scratch? :)

Your Content Templates simply use the standard search loop provided by the theme, so you won't have any issues there.

What you will need to figure out is the filtering functionality. I don't know of many off the top of my head, but found these with a quick search:
