Search in FAQ

Hi,
We are working on our new FAQ page, see https://www.capeach.eu/veelgestelde-vragen.
The search function at the top however directs to our blog page. Is it possible to stay in this FAQ page with the search function?
Thank you very much for your reply. Do not hesitate to refer me to other pages if they do exist.
Kind regards and have a nice day,
Sofie
Hi there,
you would need a plugin for that - may be this one ?
Hi David,
Thanks for your quick reply.
It also seems to search on the entire site, but perhaps I still have to change some settings. Will have a look.
Kind regards,
Sofie
So are you wanting to just search the content of the FAQ page ? A bit like CTRL + F would do in the browser ?
Well, this is partly the case, except that we will also have underlying pages (with the answers to the FAQ) in which the function must search.
Ok, so will you be using a custom post type for the FAQ answer posts ?
I wanted to use Yoast FAQ.
I am not familiar with Yoast FAQ - do you create a different type of page for those ? As you would need to tell WP to search for a specific post type.
I wanted to create a page like https://www.telsmart.eu/veelgestelde-vragen. So an overview of all the questions on 1 page and an underlying page for each answer (one per question/answer).
Do you suggest something else?
You will need to create a Custom Post Type (CPT) for your FAQ Pages.
It will require some PHP coding - Do you have any experience of creating a CPT?
Unfortunately no. There is no easy solution?
If you are not familiar with coding, use a plugin that helps you create CPT, eg.Custom Post Type UI.
