I just installed GeneratePress Pro (www.timeatlas.com) and am able to enable Navigational Search on the menu. However, it only works on the desktop.

If I click the magnifying glass on a mobile phone or tablet, I get the field to enter my query. If I enter my search terms and then press the search button or magnifying glass on my virtual keyboards, I don’t get results. I’m on the same page. No search results page appears.

On my Android phone, it looks like it has successfully applied the s= and query string in the URL bar. I can’t tell what the iPad is doing.

I’m using WP Extended Search, but get the same behavior if I deactivate and just use the native WordPress search.

    Any ideas?

    Hi there,

This is certainly strange. Let’s try to find the one causing the conflict on your search query.

Can you try disabling ALL plugins and deactivate a child theme to see if it still occurs?

    Hi Elvin,

I’ll do that on the test system and report back. I am not using a child theme.

You can also try changing the theme to check if its a theme only issue.

    Let us know. 🙂
