[Resolved] Search Box Placeholder Text Issue

Hello Generatepress Support,

I have added a search box placeholder text and only the lower half of the text is being displayed, like so (https://ibb.co/gu1SZ6).

Interesting thing is that it seems to work fine on Windows but not on tablets and mobile.

Any help will be much appreciated.

Strange, I can’t get this to happen. What browser are you using in that screenshot?

thank you very much for a quick reply.

In this specific picture I was using Safari, but strange is the fact that all 3 Ipads that I tested this on, using Safari, Chrome and Firefox produced the same result, like in the picture, but on Android – I used two android phones, on one phone placeholder text was how it needs to be when I used the DEFAULT web browser but on the other phone it was just like in the picture. When I used Chrome on each phone, everything was also fine.

This kind of inconsistency is what confuses me.

Nothing seems to work on Apple devices, windows looks good, Android works fine on one phone but not on the other one.
