Search Bar in Header, Cart Icon in Header and mobile issues

just following up on this thread since its related, I no longer have the mini cart showing up in the header of the site? not sure when it stopped showing.

also i had to change some of the above css as the search box was no longer showing at all on mobile, i removed
this

    .header-widget {
        flex: 3;width: unset;
    }
