[Resolved] Scribe Theme: Remove Date from Homepage

How do I remove the dates from being displayed on the homepage, below the blog titles?

I tried: Appearance > Layout > Blog > Archives/Single > Display Post Date (unchecked)

But that doesn’t do anything.

I’d also like to control the excerpt word count while I’m at it.

Hi there,

the Scribe site uses Block Element – Content Templates to design those post content templates:

You will find them in Appearance > Elements ( or from the Admin Bar > Elements menu it will show links to any elements being displayed on the current page.

The two elements you’re interested in are titled:

Archive cards
Featured Articles

Edit both of those and select and delete the Headline block that is showing the Date.
