Can you go to appearance > elements, and check if the site footer element is still there? If so, is it active?

I've checked the elements. But in there, the site footer element is missing. I'm not sure what happened. I'm pretty sure that I've not deleted it too.

If its not in the Elements > Trash.
Then create a new Block Element.
Set the Element Type to: Site Footer
Then from the 3 dot menu in the top bar, switch to Code View.
And paste in this code:

When I tried to add a new element with the type of Site Footer, it seems that option is not available in the drop down menu. Only available following items as element types

Block
Hook
Layout
Header

Yes. Thank you so much. It did create the footer. Now its available in element section. However, I think its location is still marked as "NOT SET". I checked several places where I can set this to available on whole site. But couldn't find it.

The Display Rules setting can be seen at the bottom of the Edit Page.
