RTL child theme

Hi Tom
I tried to use the child theme I downloaded from the link you gave, but it doesn't work so well with the rtl - some parts don't align correctly as they are in the parent theme
Hi there,
Which link was that?
There might be some parts of the theme that need tweaking for RTL as support is quite new - just let me know which parts need tweaking and I'll do it :)
The link you gave in the forum: http://generatepress.com/api/themes/generatepress_child.zip
The problem is not in Generatepress rtl theme, everything is fine in it
The problem is only when I use the child theme, some parts don't come out exactly the same like the navigation menu
When you switch themes (even to a child theme) you need to re-set your theme location for the menu in "Appearance > Menus".
Yes I know but the menu does not align correctly
Requested your link in the other topic - we'll get it sorted :)
You are the best :)
Hi tom,
If the theme naw suports RTL, haw do i activating that option.
Thank you.
Hi there,
It should be activated if you select a RTL language in Dashboard > Settings > General > Site Language.
Let me know.
Hi Leo,
Thank you for great help and support!
My next question is: after i activated RTL and created my site i would like to make the english version of it. If i change the site language settings back to english will it mess up my RTL site?
Thank you
Yuri
If you need multiple languages on your site, you need a plugin like WPML or Polylang.
