RSS Ongoing

Sorry, I closed the previous thread thinking my problems were solved.
I use only 4 plugins - Sitemaps, Limit logins, code snippets, and GP.
Only one snippet - to allow sections to show the sidebar.
My RSS widget is playing up.
I created a test post that did not appear - but when I added more content, it apeared in the widget.
I then deleted the test post, but the link remains.
I have:
- removed the post from trash (permanently)
- deleted and reinstalled widget (set to show 10 links)
- restarted the browser
At wit's end...

I'm only seeing one link in the widget. Are you still seeing two? If so, try clearing your browser cache.
Well, there you go. Now I have only one too.
(Id did clear cache before, to no avail.)
