Hello,

I'm trying to get my RSS feed on one of my sites (https://bushorder.ca) to only display post summaries or excerpts.

The main RSS feed can be seen here: https://bushorder.ca/journal/feed/

In the core WordPress settings, I have "For each post in a feed, include Summary" enabled but the feed still shows the full posts.

The reason I'm trying to have the RSS feed only show the excerpt is because I would like to use the Mailchimp RSS integration to notify email subscribers of new posts, but would like them to only see the excerpt in the email, with the call-2-action of reading the entire post on the website.

Is this something that is done with GeneratePress? Or is this another

I have scoured the forum and other WordPress resources with no luck.

Unfortunately, that doesn't seem to make any difference. The full content of the post is being generated when previewing the Mailchimp campaign.

Disregard. It was my own custom error.

I have a custom function in place that adds the featured image to the Feed item, but it was also apparently calling back in the full post content.

Glad to hear you found the issue!
