    Hi

So I understand the default RSS feed is like http://yourdomain.com/feed. So this is probably simpler then I think but I’ve set my site to use https (General>Wordpress site URl and Site address URL are https). Seems like I can’t use the feed because it wants to use http instead. Is there something I can do to make this work with https?

    Or what are my options.

    Thanks. Martha

    Hi there,

I just went to yourwebsite.com/feed and everything is still secure using https.

Did you get this figured out by chance?

    Hi Tom,

Actually my issue was pulling the single blog post’s feed into my email service provider to be used in broadcast emails. It still doesn’t work right and they are going to take a look but they gave me initial feedback and I’m working on that. So I might need your help dependent on what I find out from them.

    Here’s their reply.
    >>The error that I get when I try to view that page is Content Decoding Failed. I wonder if there are some settings on your site that we can fiddle with to see if we can change the way it’s spitting out the RSS data. Can you take a look and send me a screenshot of that settings page if you find it?

I’ll update this as I learn more.

    Thanks for replying.
    B/R Martha

Hmm, sounds like something on their end. GP doesn’t do anything to the RSS feed, so it’s 100% WordPress functionality.
