I’ve set all the three different options in Customize > Layout > Sidebars to No sidebars. On the homepage there is a right sidebar with search and date widget. I have not assigned any widget to any sidebar. I want to remove it but don’t understand how to do this.

The sidebar question is only for the start page which are the most recent posts, which is WordPress standard. On any other page, there is no sidebar.
On the starting page there is no layout metabox 🙁
Weeks ago I had a static page as starting page and I did some playing around with a sidebar on the blog page. Now I can’t remove it
