Hello Tom,
I just setup the WC Vendors Pro in my woocommerce shop site.
But when I go to the vendor stores page or an individual vendor store page, the right sidebar is no more showing; the contents of the right sidebar are now displayed below the vendor store and above the footer. Please, assist.
Regards,
Stardrive

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperHi there,
Does the WC Vendors Pro plugin use the woocommerce.php template? You may need to ask the developers.
If not, you’ll need to ask what template name you need to add to your child theme.
Let me know 🙂

Hello Tom,
Below is an excerpt from the response from author of the “WC Vendors” Plugin when I reported the problem:
“It (generatepress theme) has the woocommerce.php file, which is a catch all, and does not allow any hooking or customization of the archive-product templates.
You can continue to use the theme, you just have to get rid of the woocommerce.php file and then template it out.
You may have had no problems with other plugins, but any plugin that hooks into the WooCommerce shop loop will not work with that theme. And that’s especially what you are using WC Vendors for, to hook into the shops.”

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperDo you they have an article on what’s necessary to integrate into the plugin?

Hello Tom,
Below is the earlier response by the WC Vendors Plugin author with respect to your question:
Below are the options given by the author of WC Vendors Plugin:
1.) The theme author will need to rewrite their archive-products.php to use the WooCommerce hooks/filters, instead of manually hacking in code.
2.) Or the theme author can follow this KB article to fix the templates: https://www.wcvendors.com/kb/pro-store-layout-fixes/I have sent the detailed response to your email.

Hi Tom,
I am having the exact same problem as Stardrive and tried to follow the instruction on the page linked above for a fix but so far no luck. I have tried to use woocommerce.php that is included in GP theme folder and to add parts of it to the templates for vendor pages that WC Vendors Pro provides (all within the gp child theme), but obviously I am doing something wrong since absolutely nothing happens.
Any help/advice is very much appreciated.

I’m working on removing the woocommerce.php file and integrating WooCommerce using hooks which should fix issues like these.
I can send you a version to test if you’d like to email me at support@generatepress.com.
