Hello and thanks for your consistent help
How to add a right-side widget only on the posts and not on the homepage and other available pages?
Basically i want the post layout to be like the link i sent privately
Hi there,
I believe what you are after is to set the Single Post Sidebar Layout to Content / Sidebar and leave the other two sidebar layouts to Content (no sidebars):
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/sidebar-layout/
Let me know if this helps :)
Thank you for your help. When I add a right side bar, the article content shrinks. How can I maximize the content place (maybe take it to the left) to compensate for the space taken by the right side bar?
Hi there,
the site you imported is using a Layout Element - go to Appearance > Elements and look for one titled Narrow Single Post
In that element the Content tab > Width has been set to a smaller value.
As you want a normal layout, you can delete that Element.
Worked nicely.
I'm having a new problem now, how can I add a right side widget that display next to the start of the first paragraph. Now I added a right side menu, it is showing next to the featured image.
Go to customizer > layout > blog > featured images > posts, set the location to above content area.
