Reusable block based on GP Headline crashes block editor

About a year ago, I made a reusable block which consisted of just a GB headline block set to alignwide and with a background colour matching the website background. A bit of css provides inset shadows top and bottom so that on the front end it looks as if the post is divided into pages (example: https://herbidacious.calamus.graphics/2021/05/21/paeonia-mlokosewitschii-pink-form/) A variation with vertical ellipses is also playing up in the editor but it too displays properly on the front end (e.g. https://herbidacious.calamus.graphics/2020/06/21/incredible-buds-of-agapanthus-africanus/)
It started behaving strangely a month or so back, but has now become uneditable. Today, when I have tried to make a new blog post the block has started crashing the editor (tested in both Safari or Chrome on iMac having flushed caches and in Safari on iPad - identical problem). The entire editor pane freezes (side bars and all) and even right-clicks don't work.
The problem can be demonstrated in the editor by selecting the block and then trying to duplicate it. Sometimes the duplicate appears, other times not, but the result is that the entire page immediately locks up. No element of the editor is functional so the page needs reloading. If I use the code editor to make a copy it still crashes (locks up) the moment I return to the visual editor.
No issues are showing up in the console (except for warnings about two deprecated functions) before or after the editor freezes. I have tested this with all plugins deactivated (except GP plugins and Jetpack), and with SG optimiser (cache) deactivated. The problem persists.
I can give you a temp login to take a look if you wish (just need an email for you).
Thanks
This problem appears to be GP blocks not playing ball as reusable blocks.
I've just tried creating a few reusable test blocks. One is just a standard GB paragraph - I can insert it and duplicate it as expected. The others are a simple GP Headline block and a simple GP button. Having saved them as reusable blocks, they both make the editor freeze when I try and insert them (from the block selector) or duplicate them.
Hi there,
see Tom's reply here:

OK, I guess it’s the same root cause.
I’m surprised that this used to work fine, but is causing increasing problems as time goes by. Can’t pretend I understand how the WP GB ecosystem works, but it seems to have layers of minor issues that add up to a frustrating experience in my experience.
Anyhow, “Hang on for the update”, yes?
Yep - you can hang on, or if you want to test out the latest version its downloadable from the link Tom provided.
