    Hi,

I’ve just updated to. GP 2.0. Unfortunately I can’t find the option to upload a retina logo. Where do I find it?

    Many thanks ๐Ÿ™‚

    Hi Leo,

thanks for the quick answer. This is where I’ve already searched for it, but I just get an option to upload a “normal” logo.

A normal logo must be uploaded in order to upload the retina logo. The retina logo uses the size of the regular logo.

Ah, ok! Will try this. Is there a recommended size for the Logo?

Not really – totally depends on your design.

The retina logo should be twice the size of the regular logo.

    Is this option still available?
I just tried it in my gp installation – and customize-> site identy only shows (text copy+paste):

    Site Title
    Hide site title
    Tagline
    Hide site tagline
    Logo
    Logo Width
    px
    Site Icon

Site Icons are what you see in browser tabs, bookmark bars, and within the WordPress mobile apps. Upload one here!

Site Icons should be square and at least 512 ร— 512 pixels.

So basically like described in the documentation – but no retina option there.
I am using current gp childtheme on current wp in a virtual machine.

    addition: solved.
The option only seem to appear AFTER you already uploaded a logo ๐Ÿ˜›
So if you dont have a logo yet – the option is hidden.
