Restrict editing of blocks based on role

Hi,
Is there a way to restrict editing of blocks based on user role?
I know it can be done using Elementor, but I prefer the speed of GP and GenerateBlocks.
Is there a way to disable certain blocks from being edited, and is there a way to allow a block to be edited but not moved?

Hi Ben,
I don't believe the Gutenberg editor offers this solution unfortunately.
You can try checking with WP's support team to see if they've received similar requests before.
Hope this somewhat helps :)
Would it be possible to hide blocks using css? I currently do this with the classic editor metaboxes with great effect.
