I installed All in One SEO and started getting this error:
AIOSEO uses Wordpress API. It may be turned off.
I tried turning off every plugin and back on. It's still there. I tried a different theme, still there.
AIOSEO support says it's at the server level. Server folks say no it's not.
I have no idea where/what is causing that. Any ideas?

I'd recommend following up with AIOSEO's support team and update them on the reply from your server support.

I did. They are taking a look at it now. I just wondered if there were anything in GP which might be relevant.
