Required image dimensions for layout

Hi there,
I am currently doing a speed audit on my site and would like to know what the required image dimensions for my layout are please?
Once I know, I will make sure that the photos I add into Wordpress are already at the correct size.
I am talking about the featured images and the in text images (like all of those currently featured on my homepage).

Hi there,
the largest instance of your Featured Image is on the Single Post when it viewed in Portrait Tablet Mode ( ie. widest width with no sidebar ).
So 768px wide will cover your maximum image size.
If you wish to change the Thumbnail sizes that WordPress creates then having one set to 360px will cover you for the Blog page on those plus size mobile phones.
