Required Icon SVG HTML Format for Construction Theme

Hi,
I'm in the process of customizing the 'Construction' theme from the Site Library. However, I'm running into headwinds with the SVG icons used.
I've tried making my own based off company logos in Inkscape (saving as plain svg file), but it's not showing up in Firefox but works in Chrome.
What are the recommendations or specifications required for the svg icons in the theme?

There is no special requirements here - SVG is SVG.

Not sure how you are doing this but it usually requires Adobe Illustrator to make it work properly - A graphic designer should be able to help you out with this pretty easily.

So I was uploading a bitmap and then converting that to SVG and that was not working so well (why I don't know, I'm not a graphics expert). After enough back and forth, I was able to create a svg from scratch and that resolved the issue.
