[Resolved] Replacing old ways to generate icons

Hi,

I am building a new theme for my very old site.

Currently the site uses shortcodes to show icon in the post, for examples: [icon ok] would show a tick icon, [icon remove] would show an “X” icon etc etc. I have 4 – 5 of different icons on site and they scattered through different pages.

Since I am switching to a new theme – these shortcodes will no longer work. How do we replace them with something new (I’m thinking to use the .svg icons that GP uses)?

Is it possible that you share the code snippet that I can add to my functions.php?

Or is there other better way to do this?
