Renewing License Key for GeneratePress

I received an email to renew the license key for Generate Press. I did this and downloaded a zip file. My question is whether or not the uploading of that zip file as a Plugin on my site would be like putting the entire Generate Press on my site again when I already have it installed? Or, would it only update the license? If only updating the license, then why wouldn't I simply be able to do that through an update rather than a re-install via Plugin? Would this upload affect the content already on my site or would there be no worries?
Hi there,
You don't need to reinstall GP premium once you renew your license key - the plugin will continue to work and you will continue to receive update notice when they are available.
Re-installing the plugin or theme also will have no effect on your current settings or content.
