renewal date discrepancy

Hi, I was about to extend my premium license when I noticed that the expiration date was not the same as my purchase date.
My account suggests I last renewed on Nov 29th 2019. My expiration date should I buy an extension with your black Friday offer states Sept 12th 2021.
Can you tell me why it is not 12 months?

Hi there,
Renewals are based on the date the license was created. Every time you renew or extend your license, it adds +1 year to the current expiration date.
For example, you purchased on September 12, 2017, and your license now expires on September 12, 2021.
