removing/replacing Generate Press text from footer

Hi there,

We have been using Generate Press for some time now and its great, but recently all our copyright info was changed automatically and now states Generate Press instead of our company name.

When we go into the “copyright” section on the customiser to fix it. it keeps the default text that is originally there and just adds the next text as well

How can i remove/replace the default text ?

Just thought I would add that I saw something similar. My copyright was added to the default copyright and did not just replace it. Tried several times with the same result.
THEN one day it seemed to magically heal! Obviously, magic or divine intervention didn’t fix it, but I can think of nothing that I did that would have caused it.

Hi there,

Can you try updating to the latest version? The live preview in the Customizer keeping the old copyright was a known bug that is now fixed. However, once you saved, the default copyright was removed.
