Removing post date and author from Dispatch theme?

So I'm having trouble removing the date an author from the GP Dispatch theme.

I have gone to customize> Layout> blog > Single > and disabled the date and author but to no avail.

I have removed all cache plugins and what not. I have even disabled yoast because its looked like that was the problem but to no avail.

Any ideas? What I'm I missing here.

Hi there,

go to Appearance > Elements ( or in Admin Bar > Elements ) and edit the Single Post Hero - and delete the meta you don' require.
